A banda se chamava Blink, mas uma banda irlandesa já havia sido registrada com esse nome. Eles resolveram, então, adicionar o 182 (por escolha própria e sem sentido comprovado pelos integrantes). Figure 8 e Duck Tape foram nomes cogitados antes de o nome Blink 182 ser adotado.

Barker e Delonge têm um projeto paralelo chamado Box Car Racer, que tende a tocar um punk mais sério e cru. Barker também tem a banda Transplants, com integrantes do Rancid

Delonge aprendeu trompete aos 10 anos de idade. Mudou pra guitarra porque não era muito bom no sopro...

DeLonge é obcecado em aliens e OVNIs. Ele é certo de que há algum tipo de conspiração governamental para cobrir a existência de aliens.

Hoppus e DeLonge são conhecidos pelo seu bom humor no palco. Fazem piadas sobre pênis e peidos direto. Barker, por sua vez, é quieto.

Para impressionar Tom na primeira vez que o viu, Mark escalou um poste de luz.

DeLonge foi preso durante a turnê Good Times por beber sendo menor de idade. Um policial percebeu que ele estava bêbado andando pelas ruas de noite.
